Global Compact Principles on Human Rights, Labor Standards and the Environment
Since 2012, UPERGY has complied with the principles of the Global Compact on human rights, labour standards and the environment which are the subject of a universal consensus and which are inspired by the following text :
The Global Compact calls on businesses to adopt, support and implement, within their sphere of influence, a set of core values in the areas of human rights, labour and environmental standards, and anticorruption.
Sponsorship actions
UPERGY actively supports various associations:
- Terre Citoyenne et Solidaire is a humanitarian association created in 2012 by several young people who were 16 years old at the time and only consisting of volunteers.
The association works in France and abroad on sustainable solidarity projects for the benefit of the most disadvantaged. - Réseau Entreprendre: This association, of which Christian DUTEL (CEO of the company until 2005 and Director until 2020) is an active member, assists new entrepreneurs to create or take over a company.
Réseau Entreprendre now has 67 associations in France and has been officially recognised as a non-profit organisation by decree of the Council of State on 15/01/2003. - Coupe de Pouce: The aim of the association, founded in 2007, is to give young people the desire to be entrepreneurial, by organising testimonials from volunteer entrepreneurs in classes in secondary schools, high schools and higher education.
- 100.000 entrepreneurs: Since 2012, David BUFFELARD has been taking part in classes in the region.
- The Fourvière Foundation is officially recognised as a non-profit organisation that manages the heritage of the sanctuary and its estate, as well as the site’s tourist and cultural activities. The objective is to raise funds to enhance the value of the site and develop its services such as improving visitor capacity.
